He has been trained in the NHS Organisation Hospitals in various centres like Southampton University Hospital, Oswestry Spine centre, U.K for five years, during which he had gained experience in various orthopaedic super specialities like complex trauma, arthroscopy, arthroplasty, spine surgeries and Shoulder surgeries. With this background, he moved back to India and joined the prestigious Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Chennai, India and worked for 9 years.
In Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedics centre, Oswestry, U.K, worked in Upper limb Reconstruction team for 1 year and got trained in Complex shoulder trauma, Shoulder arthroscopy and Replacement surgeries including Total shoulder (TSA) & Reverse Shoulder (RSA) Arthroplasty.
In India, for the past 5 years done nearly 150 shoulder surgeries at various hospitals in & around Chennai.
Worked as Associate professor in Dept. of Orthopaedics and got involved in teaching activities. He conducts various orthopaedic workshops regularly and also publishes articles in journals on a regular basis. Till date, he has 15 publications to his credit in various orthopaedic journals. He also was an examiner in Orthopaedics surgery at several universities.
